Ok this is a really cool trick, but tell me if you dont understand because i dont have any pictures of what to do.

Effect: Your coin that has been folded into a piece of paper, that is ontop of a coaster, and the coaster is ontop of a cup(setting like a normal cup should) and you push on the coin and it goes through the paper, and the coaster and lands in the cup. And for extra awe, it was in a glass cup so you could see what was happening. OMG! here is how to do the trick

Preperations: A square piece of paper, a coin( preferably a quarter) a cup coaster(or something else like that, just improvise) a cup (plastic for beginners, glass for extra awe)

Ok now you will need to know the paper folding trick which lets you let the coin out secretly. i will do my best to explain.

Step One:Present to the audience a coin (heavier coins are preferred) and a square piece of paper, with side lengths around five inches.

Step Two:Lay the paper on the table, and put the coin in the center. Fold the bottom third of the paper and crease it so the coin is hidden.

Step Three:Pick the paper and coin up from the table, and hold it with your left fingers and thumb holding the coin (through the paper). Fold the right third of the paper back (away from you).

Step Four:Fold the left third of the paper back (away from you). You should still be holding the coin between your thumb and fingers. Fold the top half of the remaining paper (it should be a rectangle) down and away from you (towards your audience).

Step Five:Tell the audience that the coin is now safely enclosed in the folds of the paper. While telling them, switch the paper from your left hand to your right, and rotate it so that the top of the paper is now the bottom.

Step Six:Relax your hold on the coin, and it should slip out of an opening in the packet. Hold the paper so that when the coin comes out, you can conceal it in your hand.

now that you know that you must do that first. after the coin is in the paper, you distract them by picking up the coaster and making them obsurve it while you slip the coin out.
You then put the paper down, and make them look at the cup, while they are doing that you secretly put the coin on the bottom of the coaster, and keep it near the edge.
When you put the coaster on the cup, you put it GENTLY on the cup as the coin will make noise. now it gets kinda tricky.
You must always have a littlebit of pressure on the coaster so that the coin dont fall in the cup. Put the paper on the coaster and push down on the paper. at the same time, slide the coaster a bit so that the coin slides into the cup.
Also for dramatic effect dont push the coaster the first time and say you need help. Have the spectator put his/her hand ontop of yours so they wont feel the coin. Then once again slide the coaster and, boom the coin has successfully went through paper and coaster into a glass.
