EFFECT:
The magician (over the phone), tells the spectator to grab a deck of cards. He then tells him to shuffle as much as he wants to. He then instructs him to cut the deck into three piles as evenly as possible. Then, he tells him to flip one packet over, and memorize the face of that packet.

After this is accomplished, the face UP packet, is sandwiched (still in its face up position) in BETWEEN the two face DOWN packets. Now, there should be about 20 to 18 cards face down, then another 20-18 cards face UP, and lastly the 18-20 cards face down.

Now, the magician instructs the spectator to cut the deck in half and riffle shuffle. Then, the cards are dealt down onto the (table, floor, bed, etc. et cetera ) and the magician instructs them to name ALL of the face UP cards. If the cards are face down, nothing is to be said. After this, the magician can name which card the spectator merely thought of.
