Here it Is

Effect: The Magician Shows number of cards and tells you to remember one. He then shuffles the deck and then flips the card face up in the table without questioning anything. Excellent effect!!

Secret:
What you do is:
1. Square up the deck and hold it in your left hand with the shorter side towards the spectator.

2. Then with your right hand flicker all the cards from the bottom to the top smoothly showing each for a fraction of second to the spectator.

3. While in the middle of the action in 2. tell the spectator to remember one of the cards they see.
4. When nearly completing the action hold the topmost card for more time so that the spectator is forced to remember the card.
5. Now fake shuffle the deck, like this.
a) With the index finger of your left hand hold tightly the topmost card and pull the rest deck with your right hand out.
This will leave the topmost card (the card that the spectator most has remembered) in your left and rest cards (deck) in your right hand.

b) Then place the deck over the card in left hand. Then shuffle the deck without disturbing the bottom card. (You do this by not pulling the bottom card while shuffling).

6) Now after few shuffles, reveal the bottom card in the suitable manner you like to use and see straight to the spectator with a smile.
Tips:
1. Uuse Only half of the deck and also tell this to the spectator. This will force the spectator to choose what they see but not their favorite card.
2. Its better to use special cards like, Queen of hearts, Ace of diamond of ace as the top card before hand. This would easily attract the spectator and also provides you if you like power to announce the remembered card.
Remember: Don't show this trick twice to same people because they will start searching for cards to remember from the beginning and will catch one before you show the topmost card.
